Abstract
This paper describes a DC isolated network which is fed with Distributed
Generation (DG) from photovoltaic (PV) renewable sources for supplying unbalanced AC
loads. The battery energy storage bank has been connected to the DC network via DC/DC
converter to control the voltage of the network and optimize the operation of the PV
generation units. The PV arrays are connected to the DC network via its own DC/DC
converter to ensure the required power flow. The unbalanced AC loads are connected to the
DC network via its own DC/AC converter. This paper proposes a novel control strategy for
storage converter which has a DC voltage droop regulator. Also a novel control system
based on Park rotating frame has been proposed for DC/AC converters. In this paper, the
proposed operation method is demonstrated by simulation of power transfer between PV
arrays, unbalanced AC loads and battery unit. The simulation results based on
PSCAD/EMTDC software show that DC isolated distribution system including PV
generation systems can provide the high power quality to supplying unbalanced AC loads.

Abstract
This paper presents the modeling and simulation of a proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) generation system for off-grid and on-grid operation and configuration. A fuel cell DG system consists of a fuel cell power plant, a DC/DC converter and a DC/AC inverter. The dynamic model for fuel cell array and its power electronic interfacing are presented also a multi-input single output (MISO) DC/DC converter and its control scheme is proposed and analyzed. This DC/DC converter is capable of interfacing fuel cell arrays to the DC/AC inverter. Also the mathematical model of the inverter is obtained by using average technique. Then the novel control strategy of DC/AC inverter for different operating conditions is demonstrated. The simulation results show the effectiveness of the suggested control systems under both on-grid and off-grid operation modes.

Abstract
In present study, using Least Squares (LS) method, we determine the position smoothing in GPS single-frequency receiver by means of pseudo-range and carrier phase measurements. The application of pseudo-range or carrier phase measurements in GPS receiver positioning separately can lead to defects. By means of pseudo-range data, we have position with less precision and more distortion. By use of carrier phase data, we do not have absolute position and just dislocation is available, but the accuracy is high. In present research, we have combined pseudo-range and carrier phase data using LS method in order to determine GPS receiver's position smoothing. The results of comparison by LS method show less RMS error, less calculation volume and more smoother in using carrier phase-pseudo-range data together relative to pseudo-range data in isolation.

Abstract
One of the instruments for determination of position used in several applications is the Global Positioning System (GPS). With a cheap GPS receiver, we can easily find the approximate position of an object. Accuracy estimation depends on some parameters such as dilution of precision, atmospheric error, receiver noise, and multipath. In this study, position accuracy with GPS receiver is classified in three classes. Nine classification methods are utilized and compared. Finally, a new method is selected for classification. Results are verified with experimental data. Success rate for classificationis approximately 84%.

Abstract
The main purposes of a transformerless grid-connected photovoltaic (PV) system consist of the reduction of leakage current, extraction of maximum power point (MPP), tracking of MPP (MPPT), controlling the active and reactive powers, and having the unity power factor. To achieve the above-mentioned aims, the following actions have been performed in this paper. First of all, a brief analysis of the transformerless PV system has been done by using the conventional full-bridge (FB) topologies with two bipolar and unipolar PWM techniques. Then, an effective solution has been also introduced to significantly reduce the leakage current in the conventional H5 FB topology. Moreover, a proper control method has been proposed by using the combination of the fractional open-circuit voltage (FOCV) and the model predictive control (MPC) strategies to extract the MPP from PV panels, control the injection of the reactive power to the gird and have the unity power factor. At last, the simulation results performed in PSCAD software will be used to prove the correct performance of the proposed control method in the improved H5 FB topology.

Abstract
A new regionalization algorithm is presented to improve wide-area backup protection (WABP) of the power system. This method divides the power system into several protection zones based on the proposed optimal measurement device (MD) placement and electrical distances. The modified binary particle swarm optimization is used to achieve the optimal MD placement in the first step. Next, the power system is divided into small protection zones (SPZ) using the topology matrix of the power system and MD locations. Finally, the SPZs are combined to accomplish the main protection zones and protection centers according to electrical distances, degree of buses, and communication link constraints. The introduced regionalization formulation can help provide a rapid and secure WABP for power systems. This method was applied to several IEEE standard test systems, and the simulation results demonstrated the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.
