Renewable energy and new energy technologies Laboratory
Over the past few decades, there have been significant changes in the energy industry around the world which led to the development of policies that decrease the use of fossil fuels and encourage the use of renewable energies. All these activities aim to cause minimal environmental damage.
In this regard, extensive efforts have been devoted especially in industrial energy policies in our country. One of the main goals of the country’s development plan is improving energy systems. For this purpose, the Renewable energy and new energy technologies Laboratory was founded in 1998 by Dr. Sepehr Sanaye to address fundamental and practical researches on energy systems, including prime movers, heat exchangers, heat recovery systems, HVAC systems, etc. This laboratory is equipped with simulation and design software used for power plants and thermal cycles as well as measuring equipment such as Emission Monitoring System, Pyrometer and Power Analyzer. |
