On Dec. 20, 2011, Professor. Dr. Hasan Mandal, Director of Research and Graduate Policy at Sabanci University of Turkey presented a lecture titled “the Role of Universities in the Research- Technology Development- Innovation Processes of Industries” at IUST. .

In the “12th Distinguished Researchers and Technologists Award”,  Dr. Mohsen Feizi, the faculty member at the School of Architecture and Environmental Design at IUST was selected as the  country’s eminent researcher in the Art Group by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology..
