Composites

  Composite Materials and Structures   Composite materials are formed by combining two or more components that have quite different properties. Nowadays, composites are widely being used in the various industries. In the center of Excellence in Experimental Solid Mechanics and Dynamics, we are mainly working on applications of composite materials. Thecharacterization, modeling, and testing of composites are performed at two laboratories: CompositesResearch Laboratory and Nano-compositesResearch Laboratory located in Iran composite Institute (ICI).ICI is a multidisciplinary research and technology center at Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST) which is founded on 1999and working on design and manufacturing of polymer matrix composites by different methods.   In addition, our materials and manufacturing research extends emerging materials and new frontiers such as carbon nano-tubes, micro- and nano- electromechanical systems (NEMS and MEMS).   For more information about CEESMechcomposite materials initiatives, please select from the following research categories:   Characterization   Modeling   Performance   Manufacturing & Joining   Emerging Materials
