School of Electrical Engineering, Iran University of Science and Technology
The School of Electrical Engineering offers education and research opportunities in major areas of electrical engineering. Its academic departments cover a broad range of fields, from electronic systems and communication technologies to power systems, control engineering, and bioelectric engineering. The School provides undergraduate education as well as graduate programs at the master's and doctoral levels.
Academic Departments
Electronics
The Department of Electronics focuses on the analysis, design, and implementation of modern electronic systems, including analog, digital, mixed-signal, integrated, and microelectronic circuits and devices.
Bioelectric Engineering
Bioelectric Engineering applies electrical engineering principles to biomedical systems, medical instrumentation, biomedical signal and image processing, neural engineering, and diagnostic and therapeutic technologies.
Power Engineering
The Department of Power Engineering covers the generation, transmission, distribution, conversion, control, protection, and optimization of electrical energy systems, including electric machines and power electronics.
Control Engineering
Control Engineering deals with the modeling, analysis, simulation, and design of dynamic systems and automatic control methods for improving the performance, stability, and reliability of engineering systems.
Communication Engineering
Communication Engineering focuses on the theory, design, analysis, and implementation of communication systems, including wireless, mobile, satellite, optical, and secure communication technologies.
Academic Programs
