A delegation of authorities including Head of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Railway visited the School of Railway Engineering at Iran University of Science and Technology on Monday June 23, 2014. The visit held in the conference hall of the School with the presence of the Dean and faculty members.

In this session Dr. Zakeri, dean of the School introduced the School and its educational and research capabilities and expressed the School’s willingness for cooperation with Afghanistan for holding short courses for faculty members and specialists, admission of students as well as granting scholarship, and providing technical and scientific cooperation to the Afghanistan Railway. 

After the session the delegation visited the laboratories and facilities of the School.
