IUST Ranked Third among the Nation's Universities The Islamic World Science Citation Center (ISC) has ranked Iran University of Science and Technology as the country's third industrial university. An increase in scientific articles, resources, inventions, surveys, awards, and others are deciding factors in the ranking. The ISC was established by the Iranian Ministry of Science and Technology in 2010. 17 industrial universities were under review for the ranking, including Sharif, Amir Kabir, IUST, Isfahan Industrial, and Tusi Industrial. The ISC also ranks universities that specialize in art, comprehensive studies, and research. 51 universities were ranked on these specializations during the 2012 selections. Tehran, Tarbiat Modarres, Shiraz, Ferdowsi, and Shahid Beheshti universities made top five. Research centers are ranked separately. IUST congratulates its community for this great achievement. |
