 The First National Electromagnetic Conference

 The first national electromagnetic conference in Iran was held at IUST's School of Electrical Engineering Wednesday morning December 26, 2012, and continued until Thursday.

 The coordinator of the first national electromagnetic engineering conference Dr. Farrokh Hojjat Kashani in a speech explained the electromagnetic field. He added that a total of 145 articles were sent to the conference secretariat, among which 52 articles were accepted for presentation at the conference.

 Dr. Ahmad Cheldawi, chair to the School of Engineering and chairman of the conference, also welcomed the guests and added, "We are honored to live and serve in a country that considers the expansion of science as its first priority."

 The conference ended with Dr. Safavi Naeini's, professor at Waterloo University in Canada, remarks about the latest scientific achievement in the area of " Integrated Millimeter - Wave and Terahertz Antenna Technology".
