Academicians protest against the insult to the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH)

Following releasing of an offensive film and insulting the Holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH), the students and academicians of Iran University of Science and Technology hold a protesting gathering after the noon Prayer on September 16, 2012. In this protest, a great number of the academicians demonstrated from the University Mosque to the University Martyrs’ Monument and by slogans and firing the United States flag, severely condemned this hateful action of the God’s enemies.

 Tehran Governor, Morteza Tamadon, and a number of Tehran Universities’ chancellors were also attending this demonstration.

Also Ayatollah Hamidi and Dr. Cheldavi in their speeches condemned this shameful and desperate action. A declaration issued by the faculty members’ Basij and was asserted at the end of the gathering:
