Navid Satellite launched successfully into space On February third, 2012, Navide-Elm-va-Sanat Satellite launched successfully into orbit by Safir satellite launcher. The satellite was launched on the third day of the auspicious Ten Day Dawn and the National Day of Space Technology by the order of Iran President. The satellite communicates to five stations in five cities in Iran and has diverse operational applications in atmosphere and weather sciences. This domestic satellite is made at Iran University of Science and Technology. |
