Iran University of Science and Technology gained the agreement in principle from the country’s “Council of Scientific Centers of Excellence” for establishing of seven centers of excellence in science and technology, to be initiated in the third series of the activities of the country’s centers of excellence.

We congratulate this achievement to IUST scientists.

The centers of excellence are:

1. Center of Excellence Solid Mechanics and Dynamics (CEESMech)

 2. Center of Excellence for Endamental Stusies in Structural Engineering

 3. Center of Excellence for Advanced Metallic Materials Processing

 4. Center of Excellence for Power System Automation and Operation Electrical Engineering Depatment (G.E.P.S.A.O)

 5. Center of Excellence Pavement Management, Transportation and Safety

 6. Center of Excellence for Railway Transportation

 7. Center of Excellence for Optimaization in Advanced Productive and Serving System
