The School of Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Kufa held a scientific lecture titled “Features of the ALA Graph” on Tuesday, 29 September 2025.
This lecture was delivered by Professor Dr. Mehdi Alaeeian, Dean of the School of Mathematics and Computer Science at Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST), and took place in the Salim Al-Kutbi Hall at the University of Kufa from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
Faculty members, researchers, and students attending the session benefited from the latest scientific findings and discussions presented.

The President of the University of Kufa, Prof. Alaa Naji Al-Moula, along with his Administrative Vice President, Prof. Ghani Khaqani, welcomed Dr. Mehdi Alaeiyan, Dean of the School of Mathematics and Computer Science at Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST) and External Examiner of the Department of Mathematics, School of Mathematical and Computer Sciences, University of Kufa.
This meeting was also attended by Prof. Salam Hassan Muhisen, Dean of the School of Mathematical and Computer Sciences at the University of Kufa, together with a delegation from Iran University of Science and Technology.
During the session, strategies for expanding scientific cooperation between the two universities were discussed, including faculty and student exchange programs, as well as benefiting from the experiences of Iranian universities in the development of technology parks, in support of scientific education and research.
In addition, the External Examiner Program was presented, aimed at enhancing the quality of education. This program involves a thorough review of curricula and educational processes to ensure that the declared learning objectives are properly achieved and effectively implemented.
