Introduction To System Analysis Program The development of Iran’s infrastructure requires skilled workforces to act at different levels of engineering and management. Most of the problems occur when we face with decision making issues. Therefore the industry needs educated people who could find scientific solutions for these issues. The graduate students learn conceptual and mathematical tools to provide comprehensive solution for different problems and enables them to work in the following areas: 1.Research and Development (R&D): Short and long term planning and decision making for large organizations such as governmental units subdivisions, hospitals, and other public and semi-public institutions 2. Transportation planning, traffic management, distributions, etc 3.Production planning: Problems such as, product mix, aggregate plans and schedules in different production settings. 4. Quality and Productivity 5. Management: From small scale firms to large corporations such as banks, hotels, airports, etc Below are the Core Courses of the industrial and systems engineering: No | Courses | Credit | 1 | English for systems analysis | 2 | 2 | Transportation planning | 3 | 3 | Design of management information systems and controls | 3 | 4 | Principle of simulation | 3 | 5 | Systems analysis | 3 | 6 | Computer application in industrial engineering | 2 | 7 | Final Project on thesis | | 8 | Principle of management & theory of organization | 2 | Total Credits | 21 |
